What mail delivery agent (MDA) does Postfix use?

Postfix can be configured to use a different MDA if you like but why fight the flow? Procmail is the default MDA on Red Hat and Postfix will use it just fine. There is no reason to change it. The version of procmail which comes with Red Hat 6.2 is procmail-3.14-2. If this is a new install of Red Hat Linux and you want to make sure that procmail is installed execute the following command: rpm -q procmail. If you get a null response you can find the RPM on your distro CD-ROM or at any of the mirror FTP sites.
