What magazines have writing contests?
You could try some of the writing magazines. There are two titles you can pick up in places like WH Smith/ Borders. They always have writing competitions mentioned in them. Many writing competitions have a ‘pay to enter’ scheme, which I am rather wary of myself, but you may find some free ones. I think the magazines are called Writer’s Forum and Writing magazine.
