What made Whiskey so notorious?
Lindsay Black: Well, he threw a lot of people. He weighed around 1200 lbs, he’d be about 16 hands high, he was a big bullock and he was pretty broad on the top. And, well I knew when I got on him that I wasn’t going to ride him, but I made up my mind to stay there as long as I could. Well it was four seconds I lasted on him. And next year, me mate Keith Linley rode him, but Keith Linley was at the time the best bullock rider in Australia. There’s was nobody could compare with what Keith was. Chris Richards: In the 1950s you were said to be the best all-round cowboy that the Sunshine State produced. What made you best cowboy?
