What looks good in hanging baskets but is also CHEAP!?
None of the normal annuals you buy for hanging baskets really cost the earth – if you just want standard (do nothing out of the ordinary or outrageous) planting you can just keep an eye out on Freecycle and pick things up free (most gardeners over sow when they do their own seed). Even if you get them from the garden centre though – you’re not going to spend more than a tenner on enough plants to fill a basket to overflowing.
