The Leader of the Year Award The Leader of the Year Award is one of the Society’s most coveted awards, and recognizes students who have made a qualitative difference in their institutions and in the lives of others. Each Circle can nominate its Circle Leader of the Year for the Regional Leader of the Year Award. The 4 Regional nominees then compete for the General Russell E. Dougherty National Leader of the Year Award.
