What literature may be used in an Interp cutting?
Pursuant to the District Tournament Manual, p. TD-25 and National Tournament Manual, TN-15, any cutting of literature used in an Interpretation event must be published in print and documented with the name and complete address of the publisher, and ISBN number only if it is available. If an ISBN number is not available, its a good idea to have a photocopy of the receipt documenting your purchase of the script from a commercial source. The rationale behind this rule is to document the source of the literature such that any student in competition would have equal access to the same material, and to make sure its published in print form. Entry to the National Tournament requires sending in a copy of the script, and that you physically have a copy of the printed, published version when you attend.
