What limits apply to re-disclosure of the information from the Education Record?
Records may be disclosed to a party outside the institution if the student has given written permission or if the disclosure meets a specific KU Student Record Policy exception to the written consent requirement. Those individuals receiving the information may not generally re-disclose that information to any other party without appropriate written consent of the student. Educational institutions are required to inform the party to whom a disclosure is made of the limitations on re-disclosure of the information.
