What lightbulb has a CRI (color rendering index) of over 90?”
I don’t think CRI alone is enough to identify a bulb worthwhile for SAD treatment. The CRI refers specifically to the ability of the bulb to reproduce color compared to a reference source at the same color temperature (CRI = 100). It’s my understanding that SAD and other “full spectrum” bulbs (including grow lamps) incorporate not only visible light characteristics but also UVB and UVA light. That said, http://www.bulbs.com lets you search by a bulb’s CRI rating, e.g., this link to all their bulbs with CRI > 90. Be aware that “like daylight” as a marketing term may only refer to the bulb’s color temperature, daylight being in the 5000K range — such a bulb might not be making a claim to CRI or UVA/B spectra. Also “full spectrum” might refer to a high CRI but not to UVA/B, instead just an indication that some creative phosphor use was applied to aid color reproduction. Maybe I’m way off base with t
