New nurse graduates must have a Texas license or Temporary Texas GN permit or meet the criteria for Nurse Licensure Compact before they can be employed at Children’s. For more information on licensure, you may call the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners at 512-305-6809 or visit www.bne.state.tx.us. Additionally, CPR/BLS certification for the healthcare provider is required for employment.
