What licensing violations could cause a program to drop to a 1-star rating?
The definition of “regulatory compliance” is still being developed.The goal will be to identify those programs that consistently violate basic licensing rules and create conditions that fail to protect and promote the health, safety, and development of children in care. Research is currently being conducted to identify specific conditions and rule violations that would lead to a program’s being designated as “out of compliance” with licensing or certification rules.
