What level/type of surfactants can be used with Laponite®?
When handled in an appropriate manner, it is possible to thicken some systems that contain >30% active surfactants using Laponite®. However, in other systems, just a few per cent of surfactant may cause loss of viscosity. The very large ranges of different types of surfactants that are available make this a difficult question to answer other than in very general terms.
