The patch binaries were tested for stability (load testing), functionality (full internal ColdFusion regression test suites) and performance-tuned to absolutely minimize the performance impact of the patch. Since customers need to apply the patch directly to production servers, we worked very hard to ensure the patch works as expected when installed.
