What level of HEPA filtration is achieved by PuriFresh?
The medium (the fiberglass “paper”) in the PuriFresh filters is a true HEPA medium. This medium is pleated and glued into a chipboard box. The glue acts as a seal to prevent any air from circumventing the medium, forcing it all to go through the medium. At our current level of limited production, we cannot guarantee that these glue seals are all perfect. We have been assured by the filter manufacturer, that the filter, as a unit, will pass a 95% 0.3 micron particle test. That is, the filter, as a unit, will remove at least 95% of all 0.3 micron particles from the air.
