What level of Greek knowledge is the exam designed to test?
The exam is a beginning Greek exam. It is designed to provide instructors with additional and comparative information so that they may better assess their students’ level of achievement in the basics of Biblical Greek. It examines vocabulary, morphology, and basic grammar generally included in beginning Greek textbooks. Each test includes a few rather difficult questions within these areas that would challenge intermediate students, but should only be used as a review and accountability tool at the intermediate level to ensure that intermediate students haven’t lost their grasp of the basics.
