What level of detail is required when reporting field operating activities (FOAs) on the PB-22 budget exhibit?
• Answer: For the time being, we are requesting that the PB-22 Budget Exhibit for Major Department of Defense Headquarters Activities provide two lines for each major command. One line will show the number of personnel in the headquarters organization MHA as defined prior to the re-base lining accomplished in the new DoDD 5100.73. The second will show a single total for all of the Field Operating Activities of that MHA. Under normal circumstances, these lines appear as: Headquarters, XYZ Command XYZ Field Operating Activities Military Department headquarters will need to report separate lines for the Secretariats and Service staffs and their associated Field Operating Activities.
