What lens coating and tints are available?
All the lenses we provide are plastic and scratch-resistant coated as standard so they will remain in good condition with reasonable wear and tear. Anti-reflective coatings are designed to reduce the amount of reflections from the front and back surface of the lens. This improves the clarity of vision through the lens and also enhances the appearance of the lens. It is particularly useful if you notice glare whilst driving at nigh,t or in the wet, or if you use a computer. 3.6 What are thinner lenses? High Index materials allow lenses to be made much thinner and lighter than standard CR39 lenses. A 1.6 index material will be up to 30% thinner and lighter than standard lenses. 1.67 index materials will be up to 40% thinner and lighter than standard lenses.
