KAUL: In September, Lenovo announced the ThinkCentre A61e desktop, which is EPEAT Gold certified (the highest designation in the rating tool used by the Green Electronics Council), and in October, Lenovo released the ThinkVision L193p, an EPEAT Gold-rated monitor. All other Lenovo monitors have attained a Silver EPEAT rating. And Lenovo offers more than 90 EPEAT-registered products, with a majority of them being Silver-rated. Additionally, Lenovo offers many desktops, notebooks, and monitors that meet the Environmental Protection Agency s new (released July 20th, 2007) Energy Star 4.0 standard, including notebooks in the ThinkPad and Lenovo 3000 lines. All LCD monitors from Lenovo are Energy Star 4.0 certified.
