A. We expect, among other elements, applicants to have experience of working in a health care environment and direct experience of the caring role. Work experience in a caring capacity either within a medically related or community environment is essential. Work experience is not a qualification but rather a chance to find out whether you enjoy and are suited to working with people. Potential students to Warwick are strongly encouraged to gain either some form of work experience whether that be working with people, for example, those who need to be cared for, are disabled or disadvantaged, or shadowing a doctor at work.
