What length of time is necessary for the treated floor to mature or cure completely?
After the process is finished and the level of shine achieved, the floor will continue to mature for several months. The dust-proofing aspect and ability of the new floor to repel tire marks will normally be apparent right away. The chemical reaction that results in increased hardness of the floor occurs over a period of time. Three to four months’ time is necessary for the floor to become impervious to water, and slightly more time for the floor to resist oil.
