AGA 7 states that the minimum meter run length is 10 nominal pipe diameters upstream and 5 nominal pipe diameters down stream of the turbine. The pipe diameter is measured by the size of the turbine i.e. a 2″ turbine in a 3″ pipe requires 10 x 2″ upstream and 5 x 2″ downstream. . . .
