What Legislation is Congress Considering?
Congress is now considering legislation that would take away your access to safe, effective and affordable dietary supplements. Both the Senate and the House are considering S. 762 and H.R. 1249, a bill to include dehydroepiandrosterone or DHEA, as an anabolic steroid. This legislation would add DHEA to the list of controlled substances, causing it to be immediately removed from the market when the bill becomes law. DHEA is not an anabolic steroid.
