Child protection has the right to remove children from the home if they are bieng abused or neglected or if things aren’t kept clean. DSS tends to annoy all the wrong people and the abusers and neglecters are left to keep on thier tyrades. Parents have the right to contest DSS in court. I cannot tell you a whole lot more than that. I don’t have alot of experiance with them, fortunatley. However they do come by every so often to harrass me about my house. It is kept pretty clean my 21-year old daughter helps alot, unfortunatley I have bone spurs and diabetes(still looking for better treatment current one isn’t working) which makes it difficult for me to do as much as I would like. Three kids and thier pets always running around makes some things difficult to keep perfectly spotless! Not to mention my packrat husband, lol.
