The statutory and regulatory provisions are in GC Sections 8647, 11005-05.1, 16302; and the SAM Sections 1323.12, 8634. Gifts may be either real property or personal property such as cash or equipment. A gift of real property must be approved by Finance after review by the Department of General Services. (GC Sections 11005-05.1; SAM Sections 1323.
