WHAT LASER DOES LA DEA MEDICAL SPA USE?
La Dea Medical Spa uses a Syneron elōs eMax system. The eMax uses traditional laser light as well as radio frequency. The use of radio frequency allows the laser to be used on all hair types, including blondes, reds and white. A patented Zimmer cooling device is incorporated to protect the outer layer of skin; this decreases the surface temperature and prevents thermal injury. The cooling unit also provides a mild anesthetic property allowing areas to be treated as painlessly as possible. DOES IT HURT? Most patients describe it as a little uncomfortable – a tingling, stinging sensation during treatment. Because some areas of the body are more sensitive, you may want a topical anesthetic prescribed. Applying the anesthetic prior to treatment and this will lessen any discomfort. HOW LONG IS THE TREATMENT? The treatment time can vary based on the area.
