Oracle9iAS Portal supports the following single-byte languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latin American Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, and Turkish. Double-byte support is available beginning with the 3.0.7 release. Supported double-byte languages include Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Arabic and other languages requiring bi-directional support are supported in release 3.0.9 and later.
