What land line service is available?
Every dorm room has a phone line, but you have to provide your own telephone. Voicemail services are also available free of charge. If want long distance, contact Telecommunications Services for Tech Connect. Off-campus phone service is provided by SBC Michigan, 800-244-4444 or Baraga Telephone Service, 906/353-6644. • For on-campus calls from an on-campus phone: all on-campus phone numbers start with 487-####. To dial an on-campus phone number, dial 7 along with the last four digits. • To dial off-campus from an on-campus phone: dial an 8 and then the number.
