What Kuali products are coming to Cornell?

In addition to the KFS project in progress, the university has implemented Cynergy, Cornell’s implementation of Kuali Rice, and plans to implement Kuali Coeus for research administration. Rice is the backbone of all Kuali applications and also provides powerful workflow functionality that we are eager to take advantage of with KFS. Cynergy workflow tools are already in use for requesting access to some of Cornell’s non-Kuali administrative systems, and Cynergy is available for any unit on campus to use for document routing. Since some staff members are getting familiar with the Kuali look and feel through Cynergy, it should help the transition to KFS. The future implementation of Kuali Coeus will enable research administrators and investigators to manage all aspects of grant proposal development and submission using consistent methods across campus.
