Watch for red fox tracks and maybe some coyote tracks, especially when trees and shrubs are producing fruit. The Columbian sharp-tailed grouse are abundant at Marabou. During mating season, the male grouse gather at a specific location and “dance” to attract a mate. A dancing ground, or lek, is located in one of the Marabou meadows.
