What kinds of weather fronts?
Cold fronts tend to produce weather that is of relatively short duration due to the typically narrow area of lift associated with them as well as their relatively fast movement. What kind of fronts do farmers prefer? Depends on what kind of weather they want. Warm fronts tend to move slower and have lighter precipitation of longer duration as opposed to cold fronts, but can make their fields quite wet, a problem if they need to harvest.
