Robotics can be used for a wide variety of urologic, gynecologic, colorectal and cardio-thoracic surgeries. At Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center, we are currently using the da Vinci® Surgical System to perform minimally invasive radical prostatectomies and for some gynecological surgeries, such as radical hysterectomies.
