WHAT KINDS OF SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
The Department of Housing & Residence Life generally offers graduate students summer employment as either Conference Directors (CDs) or Residence Directors (RDs). Usually there are approximately seven (7) positions available, with preference given to graduate students currently employed by the department or who are continuing employment in the fall semester. These positions are hired and contracted independently of the academic year graduate assistantship and typically pay $2,500 plus housing for the twelve (12) week contract.
