ITP’s commitment to quality of instruction and excellence in research is expressed in the Institute’s library collection which contains over 15,000 books, 170 journal titles, and an extensive collection of audio and video resources and lectures. The collection is particularly strong in the six areas of the Institute’s curriculum: transpersonal theory and research, spiritual psychology, emotional and clinical psychology, body-work disciplines, expressive arts, and the social aspects of the transpersonal movement. Students have access to numerous research databases, computers with Internet access, word processing software, and laser printing. Most journal articles and books not held by the library may be obtained through an inter-library loan. The ITP Library is a member of the Northern California Consortium of Psychology Libraries (NCCPL), allowing ITP students free access to the collections of 16 other psychology-oriented libraries in the Bay Area.
