What kinds of questions will be asked in the Aboriginal Peoples Survey?
The Aboriginal Peoples Survey will cover such topics as: • language • labour • health • housing • education • technology • mobility What questions are different from 1991? A number of topics that were included in the 1991 survey are covered again in 2001, although two sections are shorter, i.e., language and disability. There is a new section on technology. The survey tries to achieve a balance between historical comparability and making sure current issues are covered. As well, the 2001 survey has two supplements: • The Inuit Supplement • The Métis Supplement What organizations were involved in the consultation process?
