What kinds of jobs are available in MIS?
For new hires, the two most common types of positions are “business analysts” and “system developers”. An MIS major has the opportunity to work almost any industry. The MIS grad ultimately aspires to become the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a business or organization. An MIS graduate will have a strong and in-depth knowledge of computer systems, design/development and business in general which opens the door to an unlimited amount of opportunities in today’s marketplace.
