What kinds of job opportunities are usually available to graduating students?
The program is beginning its 5th year and is likely to produce its first graduates soon. Thus, at this time, we are only able to speculate on the types of positions and careers graduates will eventually pursue. Given the interdisciplinary nature of the program and the broad range of backgrounds and research activities of the students currently in the program, graduates will be highly qualified for a wide range of employment opportunities, ranging from post-doctoral research fellowships to both laboratory-based and administrative/programmatic positions industry and government as well as NGO work related to global health.
