All international students must present a copy of their F1 of J1 visa, a valid social security card as well as a copy of their I-20 form. Students who have visited the Social Security Administration (SSA) and have been issued a memorandum confirming their application may begin working as the processing time for the SSA is now between 2-6 weeks. Once the student receives their Social Security Card, they will need to provide a copy to Career Services.
