In the residence halls, normal wear-and-tear housekeeping services are provided on a daily basis for public areas and bathrooms only. All students are responsible for cleaning their bedrooms and any appliances supplied with the room. Students in suites and apartments are also responsible for the cleanliness of their living room, bathroom, and kitchen. Residential Life has great resources for “green” cleaning – ask us!

Housekeeping services are provided in the public areas of housing (hallways, lounges, Terrace Center, etc.). Residents are responsible for cleaning their private spaces including their bathroom. Cleaning supplies and vacuums are provided by the office and refills are available at any time.

• Housekeeping services for public areas are provided on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. In the residence halls and Arroyo Vista, weekday cleaning services includes bathrooms. Individual rooms and apartments are NOT cleaned by the housekeeping staff, although vacuums are available for resident use. Roommates are expected to work together to keep individual rooms clean.
