The major agricultural products of San Joaquin Valley include: Fruits like cherries, apricots,nectarines, peaches, plums and pluots, not to forget winegrapes ( Fresno is credited as the birthplace of the raisin ) Nuts like walnuts, almonds and pistachios. Vegetables like asparagus, tomatoes, cauliflower, pumpkins, and dry beans.
