What kinds of financial aid are available to continuing students for summer?
Summer Session Grant A limited amount of Summer Session Grant (SSG) funding is available to assist you in paying your summer fees. To qualify: • You must have a 2010/2011 FAFSA on file. • Your 2010/2011 Expected Family Contribution (EFC) must be $0. • You must be a California resident. • You must not be receiving funds from another source to pay your fees (e.g., Cal Vet fee waiver, scholarships specifically designated for fee payment). • You must be enrolled as an undergraduate, teaching credential candidate or graduate student. (SSG is not available for second bachelor’s degrees or unclassified post-baccalaureate students.) • You must enroll in 3-6 summer units. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis so enroll early. Summer Session Grant (SSG) is funded by Extended Education to assist students with educational expenses.
