Summer Session Grant A limited amount of Summer Session Grant (SSG) funding is available to assist you in paying your summer fees. To qualify: • You must have a 2010/2011 FAFSA on file. • Your 2010/2011 Expected Family Contribution (EFC) must be $0. • You must be a California resident. • You must not be receiving funds from another source to pay your fees (e.g., Cal Vet fee waiver, scholarships specifically designated for fee payment). • You must be enrolled as an undergraduate, teaching credential candidate or graduate student. (SSG is not available for second bachelor’s degrees or unclassified post-baccalaureate students.) • You must enroll in 3-6 summer units. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis so enroll early. Summer Session Grant (SSG) is funded by Extended Education to assist students with educational expenses. Students must be California residents and must demonstrate need. You must be enrolled in a minimum of 3 units to receive a SSG payme
