At the undergraduate level there a large number of colleges that offer need based financial aid. Students who are green card holders or permanent citizens of America can file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). American citizens and green card holders can also apply for financial aid through the CSS Profile. All international students who do not have a green card and are citizens of countries other than America must file the Foreign Student Financial aid form (FAF).
