What kinds of field work or internship experiences are offered in Consumer Sciences?
• CON SCI 589.02 Part Time Internship – The part-time internship requires students to have completed Family Financial Management 560, Accounting and MIS 310, along with a 2.0 gpa, 110 credits earned and written permission of the instructor. The student must bring documentation (supervisor’s business card) of the internship to be signed into the internship course. Students may register for 3, 4 or 5 credits hours during all quarters. The internship is repeatable up to 10 credit hours. Students are required to document their internship and learning experience through a series of assignments. The class is set up as an online course through Carmen, which is Ohio State’s online learning management system.
