What kinds of fees are paid by residents at Epworth Villa?
As with most not-for-profit continuing care retirement communities, residents pay a one-time, refundable entrance fee upon moving to Epworth Villa. This fee assures lifetime residential rights in the apartment, cottage or garden home of your choice, access to community activities and all services and programs provided by Epworth Villa. A monthly service fee is paid each month to cover the cost of resident services. The entrance and monthly service fee varies depending upon the type of residence, number of occupants, type of financial agreement and refund plan selected. Epworth Villa offers residents a choice of two financial programs, each with a choice of three refund options. The Life Care Program offers an amortizing refund, a 50% refund or a 100% refund. The Fee-For-Service Program offers a 50% refund, a 90% refund or a 100% refund.
