What kinds of dogs are hypoallergenic?

0

Hypo means low or down, hyper mean up or over. (hyperactive?) Hypoallergenic means low to zero allergens- these would be your dogs that don’t shed.- think of dogs that need to go to the groomer for regular clipping- poodles, maltese, shih tzu, etc. Hyperallergenic- extra allergenic- don’t know of a dog that is specifically labeled as hyperallergenic. Labs would not be hypoallergenic he is not shedding a lot now, because of the weather- wait until summer! Your double coated breeds (chows, shelties, goldens)- will generally shed a little, except for twice a year when they blow their undercoat and it totally changes out. The shorter hair dogs, labs, pointers, jrt’s- will shed lots more constantly. – and dude that claims is crap is an idiot!
