Each computer must meet certain minimum requirements, which include a Pentium 4 processor, a minimum of 1024 MB of RAM, and a 40-GB internal hard drive. Licensed copies of the 32-bit version of the Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system and the Microsoft Office 2007 Basic office suite are preinstalled. Desktop computers include a new keyboard with a numeric keypad and a mouse. Notebook computers are equipped with either a touchpad or a pointing stick.
