What kinds of cases do science-trained lawyers handle?
Science-trained lawyers work on many kinds of cases, including malpractice, product liability, patents, and torts. What special tasks do science-trained lawyers perform? They design exhibits used in trials, help lawyers question other scientists, and do background research. Sometimes they even perform experiments. The accelerated program is available to outstanding seniors in US high schools, or students who have completed up to one year at a college or university (including NJIT), who will be United States citizens or permanent residents at the time of their entry into law school.
