You can pay almost any kind of bill on a one-time, automatically recurring, or manual basis. You can pay everything from large retailers, credit card companies, and utility companies to local businesses like your plumber, flower shop or dentist. There are a few restrictions, however. Currently, you cannot pay bills to federal, state and local government agencies. Examples of this would be the Internal Revenue Service, the county or state tax assessor, payments for child support and payments to collection agencies. It is fine, however, to make payments to utility companies like City of Austin.
