What kinds of activities does the Festival have?
(1) The Festival offers a variety of activities including learning opportunities in Ethnic Folk Dance Workshops, Music Workshops, Singing Workshops, for both new and experienced dancers, musicians and singers, Specialty Dance Workshops and Contra/Square Dance workshops with live music. (2) If you like to party, there are Parties in Sister Bay (every night) and in Ephraim (Friday and Saturday nights). (3) There are Culture Sessions/Leader Discussion Forums, and Dance & Stress Relief sessions at lunchtime. (4) Throughout the weekend there is a Silent Auction of donated ethnic or dance-related items to support the scholarship fund. (5) There is a Group Dinner a at local popular restaurant, a traditional Door County Fish Boil Dinner in Sister Bay Park, followed by Dancing and Music in the Park and on the Village Pier. (6) There are also free Children’s Activities that include crafts, story telling, sing-alongs, creative games and dancing.
