It depends if you want the classic look or the modified look, the twin stripes were never put on the 67 or 68 model, but many owners have them, the problem you will have is trying to ignore the “blinker hood” lines, they clash with the natural lines of the twin stripes, if you follow the lines of the scoops they will look wrong and too wide and from the back the car will look like a striped car in equal quarters. I have a 68 with the “blinker hood” and I really think the twin stripes dont work on that model, try a wacky colour and stick to that only, being a classic car it will stand out anyway if you make a good job of it.
