What kinda of dogs can you get for people with allergys?
You could, technically, be allergic to ANY dog. There is no magical breed that is perfect for every allergy sufferer. All dogs have dander, all dogs have saliva. Period. On the other end of the scale, you could NOT be allergic to other dogs NOT considered “hypoallergenic.” Or you could be affected by some and not others. I’m perfectly fine with my aunt’s shepherd mix but i get sniffly and watery when i’m around my friend’s two golden retriever mixes. There are a handful of breeds considered “better” than others but those breeds are merely low dander, low shedding, non drooling dogs and can still cause a reaction. Your best bet would be to find a reputable breeder that breeds to standard – spend time with the dogs and see what happens. Before doing ANYTHING, i would talk to your doctor or an allergy specialist. It isn’t good to play around with allergies. They CAN develop into something much worse.
