Scentsy uses food-grade petroleum / paraffin based wax. Scentsy chose this wax because of its superior scent loading ability, melting point and softness. Regular Candles and Tarts burn the entire wax piece and contents into the air, whereas Scentsy Warmers simply WARM the scent out and leave the rest of the wax to be discarded.
